Another career goal of mine is to have the opportunity to design snowboard art for an established brand. For now, I'll occasionally come up with a design that I'd love to see on a board, personally - in this case using Adobe Illustrator and mocking it up in Photoshop.
I decided to make up my own Skate, Snow, Surf company with a little logo and branding exploration. "Butter Boards," because if they existed they'd be smooth like butter.
In February 2022, I was finally able to bring the concept to life, thanks to the help of Marhar Custom Snowboards out of Grand Rapids, MI. This time using my "JY" logo, they sent me the die lines, I set it up for print, and 2 weeks later it was at my door! Both the quality in print and product materials used are top notch.
